It sets mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, control, materials and other technologies in the whole mining system. It is the only equipment that has its own moving function, and its functional strength directly affect the realization of system functions. Its main function is to walk on the soft seabed of the polymetallic nodules mining area, continuously collect nodules on the surface of the seabed sediments, and according to the requirements of the nodules transport technology, the collected nodules are desulsized and crushed, and then transported to the lifting system. At the same time, it has automatic obstacle crossing, obstacle avoidance, anti-subsidence and other capabilities, which can achieve high collection efficiency. At present, the key technical problems solved by the mining machine have been modularized, which can be easily transplanted to many equipment, and directly used in port dredging, submarine pipeline maintenance, deep-sea cable burying/cutting, fishing, deep-sea accident investigation and other underwater operations, which has a good prospect of industrial transformation.
