Solid buoyancy material is a very key core material in ocean exploration and deep-sea engineering,and is one of the six key technologies of deep-sea submersible.It plays an important role in ensuring the necessary buoyancy of the submersible,increasing the payload of the submersible,reducing its external size,and maintaining the stability and safety of the system structure.Unlike traditional foam materials,solid buoyancy materials are composed of epoxy resin and hollow glass beads composite,wherein,hollow glass beads as a density regulator,while having a high strength,so that solid buoyancy materials can achieve"both light and strong":both can provide buoyancy,but also can resist the deep sea thousands of meters or even tens of thousands of meters of high pressure.Therefore,the strength of solid buoyancy materials largely depends on the strength of hollow glass beads.
