As an important marine monitoring equipment, buoys play an important role in marine scientific research, resource development, and the implementation of maritime military operations.
Buoys are mainly divided into two categories:drift buoys and anchor buoys.Drifting buoys are divided into surface drifting buoys and subsurface drifting buoys based on their different working depths;Anchor buoys are divided into single anchor mooring buoys and three anchor mooring buoys based on different mooring methods.Surface drift buoys are generally composed of water sails, floating balls, and connecting cables, and are placed on the sea surface and at a fixed depth below the sea surface.
The floating body of the subsurface drift buoy is located at a depth of 1000-2000 meters underwater, and the current parameters at the corresponding depth are measured. The most widely used representative is the Argo buoy.
As a key offshore monitoring equipment, buoys have great practical value. In today's rapidly developing information technology, the collection of marine environmental information is extremely important. The research, development, and widespread application of submarine buoy technology will improve the level of China's marine environmental forecasting, enhance the transparency of the marine battlefield environment, and have extremely important significance for the marine ecological environment and national defense security.
